Install and Run These 2 Applications For Successful Investments.
It’s a holiday time for many of you…..while I do not want to stop you from enjoying your time; I want you to download and install following applications for successful investments on your Cell (grey cells). Yes, on your grey cells….just read and re-read them and they will start downloading gradually (of course, if your operating system permits)
1st Application……Planning:-
Once you establish your investment goal, just run this application in your grey cells….it will help you to answer following questions.
I. How will you achieve your goal?
II. What are the resources required in terms of investment capital, knowledge, skills and strategy?
III. How will you arrange all of the above resources?
IV. How will you organize all of them?
V. What is the time limit you have set to achieve your goal?
VI. What will you do, if your strategies do not work?
VII. What are alternative options to achieve your goal?
You just need to be logical and disciplined when you run this application on your grey cells. Clean up the virus of emotions before you run it.
2nd Application…..Attitude:-
While you are executing 1st application…..to make it faster and effective you require support of this application.
Normal investors have an attitude that….if they invest in any assets, then the prices must go up very fast….if the price do not move up and goes down in their expected time….either the company is bad or market is bad or the person who suggested is a dumb…or they have a bad luck. Their ego gets hurts.
However, if the 2nd application is running properly….you know that if you set the goal, you are going to miss it. Success, like happiness, can not be pursued. Success is an unintended side effect of one’s dedication to a cause greater than oneself or as a bye product of one’s surrender to a market. (Now you understand, why I always write….surrender to a market !!)
(Mohandas Gandhi became Mahatma Gandhi by dedicating himself for a cause greater than himself….and Mr.Buffett and all other successful investors surrender to the market…they never argue with the market !!)
My Personal Call:-
Somebody has said….“Failing to Plan is Planning to Fail”….if you have failed in the past…..run 1st application along with the 2nd application.
If both the applications are not running properly on grey cells…you need to upgrade your operating system !!
